The realization of the «Parco antico Iachinu Filì» (Antic Park of Iachinu Filì) at Campobello di Licata constitutes a concrete and exemplary example of territorial valorization, in accordance with an endogenous and local development approach, in the direct line of the most recent european indications. A model of good practice of youth involving in the local development, perfectly replicable in the european area and that, reguarding to the numerous initiatives of youth mobility with which it has been realized, presents an european dimension that has really few comparisons in the local context. The «Parco antico Iachinu Filì» (Antic Park of Iachinu Filì) is still an exemplary project also from the perspective of sustainable and green tourism.

The archaeological area was chosen after an extensive territorial research, during which were identified more than thirty other archaeological sites. This analysis allowed having an effective «overview» of the characteristics of the archaeological patrimony present in Campobello di Licata's municipality. The area was then individualized by evaluating and comparing the areas found, through the criteria of immediate usability, presence of suggestive archaeological structures in elevation and evocative landscape. The first archaeological recovery has led to a total of to months of volunteer work with a hundred of young italians and foreigners, currently, the maintenance of the area is ensured by using, when it's possible, the local and foreign volunteers activity. Although it's not officialy opened yet to the public the Park has already been visited by thousands of persons.

The necropoli recovering project,to achieve the «Parco antico Iachinu Filì» (Antic Park of Iachinu Filì), was conducted with the strict use of local materials and traditionnal typologies. The new elements, that are inserted in this context (signs, signalling) are realized creating a minimum environmental impact, respecting the traditionnal typologies, in harmony with the environment and anyway with the attention to separate the elements of new input from the existing ones.
