Escursions

By Excursions we mean package-tours which last one day. The visits are conducted by qualified guides and are performed with great didactic concern and scientific rigour. It's also possible to benefit from various ways of catering. All the catering structures chosen by the Archeoclub have signed an agreement that aims to ensure precise standards and a good cost/quality ratio.

The package-tour proposed are listed below

ESC1

Guided visit to the necropoli of «Parco antico di Iachinu Fili» (Antic Park of Iachinu Fili) and at the Permanent exhibition about research activities in Campobello di Licata.

Touristic lunch (with first and second course, garnishing, fruits, water and wine, coffee) and, in the afternoon, on of the three didactic laboratories about archaeology proposed:

1. How to conduct an archeological research
2. Protostoric and Prehistoric art of Sicily
3. The cultural and environmental heritage of the province of Agrigentino

ESC2

Guided visit to the necropoli of «Parco antico di Iachinu Fili» (Antic Park of Iachinu Fili) and at the Permanent exhibition about research activities in Campobello di Licata.

Touristic lunch (with first and second course, garnishing, fruits, water and wine, coffee) and, in the afternoon, guided visit to the «Valle delle pietre dipinte» (Depicted stones valley), to the «piazza» and to the Murals of Campobello di Licata

Guided visit to the necropoli of «Parco antico di Iachinu Fili» (Antic Park of Iachinu Fili) and at the Permanent exhibition about research activities in Campobello di Licata.

Touristic lunch (with first and second course, garnishing, fruits, water and wine, coffee) and, in the afternoon, one of the five visits of Agrigento*

1. «Valle dei templi» (Temples Valley) of Agrigento: from the temple of Juno to the Dioskouroi's one.*
2. «Valle dei templi» (Temples Valley) of Agrigento: from the temple of Vulcan to the Kolymbetra and the Archaeological museum*
3. Rock itinerary: Temples of Demeter and Chtonic Divinities
4. Hellenistic-Roman itinerary: Hellenistic Area, Church of San Nicolas and Archaeological Museum*
5. Medieval itinerary: Cathedral, Monastery of S.Spirito and church of S. Maria dei Greci («Our Lady of the Greeks»)
