I started my collaboration with “Archeoclub” the first of February finishing the first of November, I chose this project by diverse reasons; one of them was the possibility to know a particular culture; the Customs, the people, the food, the music, the weather, the incredible places or the original way of seeing and living through the life of the Sicilian people is something that you only can know living here. Other reason was to learn the language, the fact to live in Italy for nine month has been enough; being in contact with the local people or the language course made me learn so fast. Of course other of the reasons why people decide to do this kind of experience is to know new people from everywhere, always with the mentality of the traveller; people open to new experience, to know new places, new cultures,...; In nine months here I have lived with people from Greece, Estonia, Latvia, France, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Holland; during the summer camps I also had the possibility to meet participants from all over the world; and after my project I will have the possibility to visit them in their own countries. Another interesant point to came here was to improve my knowledge in the field of the art and with the preparation of the didactic museum, the archaeological activities, the summer camps or the manipulation of the archaeological material I have managed to reach this objective. But now that my project is finished…? I decided to apply for future capital; is a program that let you the possibility to create a personal project after your E.VS., so thanks also to this experience, in January I'm going to Crete in order to develop my own archaeological project.
