Founded in 1200 and dedicated to Saint Francesco (photo 1), but in 1639 was demoled, and rebuilt during the baroque.

     Inside there are alegoric sculptures (photo 3), but some of them were covered with stucco (photo 2), there should be the seven alegorics virtues . We can also find paintings of the XVIII century, paintings of saints; San Bartolome, Santa Clara, San Calogero...(photo 4) and (photo 6) . In the ceiling there is an art work of Domenico Provenzano (photo 7), who used a very personal style. Inside there are also relics of two saints who were died during the christians battles; S.domicio and Santa Colomba (photo 5) . Behind the altar there is a structure for the gregorian songs (photo 11) .

     The sacristy is really interesting (photo 10), they tried to show the economic power of the order, the date of the cacristy is 1699, the decoration of the fornitures is great, were decorated by four artist from Trapani with the help of local artist. The desing of the four evangelist in the ceiling is amazing (photo 8).
