Camping dates for 2008:

• 28th of July - 9th of August
• 18th of August - 30th of August

Arrival on Monday till 17.00. Departure on Sunday till 10.30

Partecipation Fees:

The enrolement fee for a 2 weeks partecipation in the Kalat Camps is € 320. For only one week partecipation the fee is € 250. If applying before the 30th of April 2008 the fee is € 300 (for 2 weeks).

For addictional days of partecipation regarding the duration of the camps, there will be a daily charge.

The partecipants will be between 18 and 30 years of age. The spoken languages will be: Italian and English.

The partecipation fee includes:

• Residence (in the primary school), warm water, showers, WC
• Meals consisted of typical Sicilian dishes (lunch, supper, breakfast)
• Transportation with mini-bus for the activities of the camp
• Health insurance
• Didactic activities
• Guides to Agrigento
• Guides to Naro
• Guides to the Parco della Divina Commedia
• Guides to the Parco Antico di Iachinu Filì
• Guides to the town of Campobello di Licata
• Partecipation certificate

The partecipation fee does not include:

• Tickets for entering the archaeological areas of Agrigento and the museums (in order to receive a reduction in the price, it's adviced to bring with you the booklet or the enrolement to your University and/or a youth card)
• Entrance to the churches of Naro (€ 0,50 for person)
• Extra activities/Transportation to the beaches (the cost of the round-trip ticket is approximately € 6)

Things to bring with you:

• Long pants (from cotton)
• Parasol hat
• Small backpack for carrying necessity items
• Canteen
• Torch
• Washroom items
• Bed-sheets
• Security shoes (very important!)
• Sanitary booklet (very important!)

Organising Time (see daily program)

Morning:

• Preparation of breakfast (everyone must prepare his own breakfast) and turns for short implementations
• Free time: possibilities of sea baths in the beaches of Licata
• Weekly excursions and guided visits to Agrigento (Valle dei Templi, Archaeological Museaum) and/or Naro

Afternoon:

• Archaelogical research activity

Evening:

• Free time or animation (self-managed from partecipants) with cooperative games

Weekend:

The partecipants will have free time during the weekend (starting from Saturday at 13.00 o'clock). The organization will suggest short trips (Siracusa, Taormina, Catania, Palermo, Etna, etc.)

The expenses will be charged to the partecipants.
